A High School Clinician position is available for a contract lasting through June 25, 2026, focusing on providing social, emotional, and behavioral support to students. This role is designed for a professional with a Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling and experience working in school settings.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload of approximately 24 high school students.
- Delivering individual counseling sessions focused on social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Facilitating small group support sessions.
- Conducting crisis management interventions as needed.
- Utilizing a drop-in model to provide accessible student support.
Qualifications and experience:
- Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- School-based experience, preferably as a clinician in a high school environment.
- Ability to handle crisis situations effectively.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Successful completion of a drug screen and fingerprint/background check.
- Capacity to complete local criminal background verification promptly.
Location: High School setting in Westfield, MA.
Additional details:
- Full-time commitment (35 hours per week).
- Interviews conducted via Zoom for approximately 1530 minutes.
- Candidates must be able to communicate scheduling conflicts in advance and notify appropriate parties in case of illness.
